New Babies

Congratulations on your new arrival. The physicians of Chippenham Pediatrics are here to answer any questions you may have regarding the care and well-being of your newborn.

If you were seen in the hospital by one of our physicians you will be told on the day your infant leaves the nursery for home when you'll need to make an appointment for the first visit. Newborns are often seen within the first week of life to check their weight, check for jaundice and address any concerns.

The check up schedule is as follows:

• 2 weeks
• 2 months
• 4 months
• 6 months
• 9 months
• 12 months
• 15 months
• 18 months
• Yearly from the age of 2 though age 6
• Every other year from age 7 through age 21
